The moment that all New Englanders have been waiting for has finally arrived. You are cordially invited to attend our Annual Rhode Island Funeral Directors Outing/Clambake that will be held on Thursday, July 9, at Kempenaar’s Clambake Club, (401) 847-1441. (See directions below). The chowder and clamcakes will be served from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and the littlenecks will be served at 2:30 p.m. This Authentic New England Clambake will be held at 5:00 p.m. sharp. The New England clambake consists of steamers and mussels with drawn butter & broth, your choice of 1-1/4 lb New England Lobster* or Steak* . All meals are served with barbeque chicken (family style), BBQ drumstick, sausage, fresh fish, potato, corn-on-the-cob, coleslaw, brown bread and seasonal fruit platter with a sweet and your choice of coffee or lemonade. The cost of the New England Clambake is $125.00 per person. A cash bar will be available, however, we will have an open soda bar served throughout the day. As always, please feel free to bring along guests.

There will be many great door prizes as well as the raffle prizes at this event. Kempenaar’s green lawns, flowering shrubs, colorful flower beds and open air-pavilions, is the perfect setting for our Annual clambake. You are welcome to compete in a game of horseshoes, volleyball or lawn bowling or just sit back and enjoy the attractive grounds. They only serve one group at a time, so the 5 acres is totally for our exclusive use.

Please make reservations by July 3rd. Tickets will not be mailed in advance of the clambake. Your reservations will be available at the clambake.
